Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh Government has ordered uniform timings for schools across the State in order to monitor the functioning of government schools and those aided by it. An order for common timings in all the schools was given during a meeting of senior officials of the department early this week, State Education Minister Ishwar Das Dhiman said on Sunday. TimingsThe timings will be 10 am to 4 pm, he said but added that the schools running double shifts would be exempted from this regulation. Mr. Dhiman said same timings would help the department monitor functioning of schools properly by sending officials on surprise checks. — PTI
