Bank managers’ meeting

CHENNAI: Chennai Collector will convene a special meeting of bank managers on Wednesday at the Collectorate to discuss the implementation of the Prime Minister’s Rozgar Yojana to provide self-employment for educated unemployed youth.
The Regional Joint Director of Industries and Commerce will identify eligible candidates and recommend their applications to various banks for sanction of loan to start business, service and industrial ventures.
Persons whose applications are pending with the bank branches may approach the branch managers concerned with relevant documents before Wednesday. Applicants unable to obtain a sanction letter may attend the special sanction meet to expedite their process.
