Man dies in fire at cracker unit

VIRUDHUNAGAR: A worker, P. Chellam (60), was killed in a fire accident at a cracker unit near here on Saturday.

According to police sources, the victim was handling explosive materials to make caps when it suddenly caught fire.

He was killed on the spot at the unit in Amathur.
