LAKKUNDI (GADAG TALUK): Channakka Pavate, Professor at the Department of Kannada Studies at Karnatak University, Dharwad, has said that the history of Gadag district was unique in the sense that it had the footsteps of diverse architecture along with the cultural and literary treasure. She was chairing the seminar on “History and heritage of Gadag district” on the second day of the “Lakkundi Utsav” at Lakkundi village in Gadag taluk on Sunday. — Staff Correspondent
