Lorry owners’ meet

Bangalore: The Federation of Karnataka State Lorry Owners’ and Agents’ Associations has convened a meeting on Monday with the representatives of similar associations of neighbouring States.

In a statement issued on Saturday, Federation President G.R Shanmugappa said that as per the verdict of the Karnataka High Court, only those vehicles from other States, which are fitted with speed governors, can enter Karnataka. Monday’s meeting will discuss this aspect of the verdict.
