Police stations on borders on high alert

D.Chandra Bhaskar Rao

CHINTOOR (Khammam dt.): Police stations in remote areas of Andhra Pradesh, especially those on the inter-State borders, have been put on high alert following the Maoist attack on police establishments in neighbouring Orissa.

A CRPF battalion is being sent to Bhadrachalam. The bulk of the weapons looted by the Maoists at Nayagarh is expected to reach the camps being organised by the left wing extremist group in the timber reserves of South Bastar.
