Reliance Power plans bonus shares issue

MUMBAI: Reliance Power Ltd, headed by Anil Ambani, on Sunday decided to consider issue of bonus shares to all categories of investors, excluding the promoters group. The decision will be taken at a meeting of its Board of Directors on February 24.

The company was listed on stock exchanges only on February 11. Reliance Power’s Initial Public Offering — which was offered for retail investors at Rs.430 a share and institutional investors at Rs.450 a share — closed on January 18.
