Senate meeting: A meeting of the senate will be held on March 26 and 27. Questions from senate members should be received before February 23 and resolutions before February 26.

Practical examinations: The practical examinations for students in various branches of the B.Tech. programme at the Mary Matha College of Engineering and Technology, Paliode, will be held from March 10 at the College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram, Sree Chithira College of Engineering, Pappanamcode, Government Engineering College, Barton Hill and University Engineering College, Karya- vattom.

Refresher course: Applications have been invited for a refresher course in history scheduled at the Academic Staff College from March 10 to 31. The application forms and details can be had from the college or its web site www.ugcasc.keralauniversity.edu. The last date for giving applications is March 1.

B.Com. practical: The EDPCA practical of the final year B.Com. examinations held in September 2007 will be held at Mar Ivanios College, Thiruvananthapuram, and at S.N. College, Chengannur, on February 18. Details can be had from the examination centres.

BAMS examination: Applications for the second professional BAMS examin- ations beginning March 14 can be submitted without fine till February 21, with a fine of Rs. 50 till February 23 and with a fine of Rs. 250 till February 25. Applications for the third professional BAMS examinations can be submitted without fine till February 25, with a fine of Rs. 50 till February 27 and with a fine of Rs. 250 till February 29.
