New York: A 34-year-old Indian, charged with setting afire his two sons, one of whom died, was ordered to be held on a $10 million bond by a judge in the U.S. state of Illinois. DuPage County Judge Daniel Guerin set the $10 million bond for Kaushik Patel who appeared for the hearing via teleconference, attorney’s office spokesman Paul Darrah said. Patel is accused of setting fire to his sons — Om(4) and Vishv(7) — at their home on November 18 last year. PTI
