RAINFALL: Rain/ snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry over the rest of the region.

TEMPERATURE: The minimum temperatures fell in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They were below normal in Punjab, above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 04.9°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 20th February 2008: Weather will be mainly dry over the region. Night temperatures are likely to fall by 01 to 02°C over the region.

FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 19th February 2008: Mist / shallow fog in the morning. Mainly clear sky. The minimum temperature will be around 08°C.
