State promises normality on hartal day

Kochi: The State government, on Monday, assured the Kerala High Court that every possible step would be taken to see that life was not affected during Tuesday’s hartal.

The Advocate-General gave the assurance to a Bench comprising Chief Justice H.L. Dattu and Justice K.M. Joseph when a petition filed by the Anti-Hartal Campaign Committee against the hartal called by the United Democratic Front came up for hearing.
