Youth Congress flays Pinarayi’s remark

KOCHI: CPI(M) State secretary Pinarayi Vijayan’s criticism of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi is meant to divert public attention from the clashes that took place during the State conference of the party, Youth Congress State president T. Siddque has said. Talking to media persons, the Youth Congress leader also criticised CPI leader Veliyam Bhargavan for his reported statements against Ms. Sonia Gandhi.

The Youth Congress will organise a series of agitations against the illegal sale of HMT Ltd land.

The organisation will not allow any kind of constructions on the land that was sold to a real estate company, he added.
