HURT: The injured tiger that was brought for treatment to Van Vihar National Park in Bhopal on Monday. Bhopal: A tiger, which was found injured in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh, was brought here on Monday for treatment at Van Vihar National Park, its director J.S. Chouhan said. “The animal has suffered injuries in the rear portion and both his legs are paralysed,” he said. A team of veterinary doctors is taking care of the full grown animal at Van Vihar, he added. Details unavailable When asked about how the tiger got injured, he said that details were not available and only forest officials of Satna could explain it. The tiger was found injured on February 16 in Unchaher forest area of the district. It was reported that the animal was shot at by a poacher. — PTI
