Anganwadi workers’ plea to Government

ADILABAD: The district anganwadi workers and helpers union on Monday sought a hike in honorarium from Rs. 1,400 to Rs. 2,000. Besides, the union demanded recognition as Government servants. At a press conference, union honorary president Nalini Prabhakar Reddy and district general secretary Radha said a delegation of leaders from the union had met Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on February 15 with regard to pending issues of anganwadi workers.
