Court restraint

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Monday, in an interim order, restrained private television channel Asianet Suvarna from telecasting the Kannada film “Santa” and songs and clips of the movie.

The movie is produced by Company Enterprises.

The court passed the order on a petition by Zee Kannada, which said the rights for the movie were purchased by it.

Justice H.G. Ramesh issued emergent notice to the producer and adjourned further hearing on the case. — Staff Reporter
