Ullal team wins bank quiz

BANGALORE: The Vijaya Bank’s quiz for high school children held on Sunday saw Anirudh and Shashank of Vidyaniketan Public school, Ullal, win the rolling trophy.

Srimukh and Deepak of Sri Kumaran Children’s Home (State) were declared the first runners up and Karan Prasad and Sourabh Shirahatti of National Public School, Koramangala, the second runners up. The Vijaya Bank V- GenUTH Quiz, being held for the 22nd year, attracted 155 teams from 64 schools comprising 310 students.

There was no entry free and the quizmaster was Giri Blasubramaniam.

Prakash P. Mallya, Chairman and Managing Director, gave away the prizes.

T. Valliappan, Executive Director of Vijaya Bank, graced the occasion.
