Madurai District All India Trade Union Congress Autorickshaw Drivers’ Association staged a demonstration in the city on Monday, condemning increase in prices of petrol and diesel. M. Nandasingh, district president, said that the Government should initiate steps to reduce central excise duty on petroleum and diesel products that would proportionately bring down the prices.
