Two students drown

PUDUCHERRY: Two students from Manipur drowned in the Chunnambar, eight km from here, on Sunday.

Thaudan David Singh (20), a final year student of Economics at Loyola College, Chennai, and Ravichandra Kuman (21), a final year student at the Pondicherry Engineering College, had come here on a holiday. A friend who accompanied the duo said they were trying to cross the backwaters.
