Kamaraju to lead

VIJAYAWADA: Former Ranji skipper K.V.S.D. Kamaraju will lead the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) veterans’ team in the South Zone inter-State tournament in Chennai from February 20 to 23.

The team: K.V.S.D. Kamaraju (captain), Md. Fasee-ur-Rehman, P. Prasanna Kumar, D. Vincent Vinay Kumar, G.V.V. Gopala Raju, D. Oscar Vinod Kumar, Y.S. Ranganath, M. Haribabu, R.S.R. Murthy, S. Krishna Mohan, T. Pawan Kumar, Ghulam Khadar Basha, V. Vijayasarathi, B.S. Mangesh, Amit Pathak, K. Chakradhar Rao. Coach: M. Sharath; Manager: M.N. Ravi Kumar.

Volleyball tournament

The 53rd School Games Federation of India National volleyball tournament for girls (under-14) will be held at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Anakapalle, 45 km from Visakhapatnam, from Feb. 23 to 26. As many as 570 players and coaches from 28 States, seven Union Territories and three school units would participate in the tournament, Minister for Commercial Taxes Konathala Ramakrishna informed at a press conference.
