Only 20 per cent have ID card

BANGALORE: Only 21 per cent of the voters in Bangalore Urban district possess proper voters’ identity card. The house-to-house survey revealed that around 8.77 lakh of 39.13 lakh voters have proper voters ID card though 27 lakh ID cards were issued during a campaign undertaken a couple of years ago. According to Mr. Sadiq, most of the voters have changed residence now.
