JD(S), BJP blamed for Central rule

Staff Correspondent

TUMKUR: Y.A. Narayanaswamy, independent MLC, has held the Janata Dal (S) and the Bharatiya Janata Party responsible for the imposition of President’s Rule in the State.

Talking to presspersons here on Monday, Mr. Narayanaswamy, who represents the South East Teachers’ Constituency in Council, said: “I consider it (President’s Rule) a tragedy. The Janata Dal (S) and the BJP harmed their image by creating conditions for imposition of Central rule.”

“People of other States were amused over the developments in the State before imposition of Central and dissolution of the House,” he said.
