Collector holds education review meet

Kakinada: District Collector M Subrahmanyam called upon officials of the Education Department to concentrate on `focused area mentoring’ of the 10th class students to achieve good results in the annual examinations to be held next month. He also sought the standards to be improved in `C’ and `D’ grade schools whose performance is found to be below the benchmark.

Addressing a review meeting of the Education and other departments here on Tuesday, Mr. Subrahmanyam said due importance should be given to augmenting infrastructure in schools.

Also, efforts should be made to improve standards in all schools.
