dated February 20, 1958: Gazette notification

The Government of India, by a notification in the Gazette of India, have made certain amendments to the Registration of Newspapers (Central) Rules, 1956, and to the forms for declaration and annual statement. The amended declaration form provides for a joint declaration only when the printer and publisher is the same person and for giving specific information regarding the ownership of the newspaper, a press note says.
