Paswan seeks CBI probe into U.P. killing
Special Correspondent
NEW DELHI: The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president and Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to order a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) inquiry into the killing of three youths in Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh.
In a letter to Dr. Singh, Mr. Paswan said the youths were shot dead on February 6 and according to the FIR, the accused were the henchmen of a U.P. Minister.
“This is a matter of serious concern and therefore, the LJP, has demanded that immediate action be taken to book the culprits responsible for the heinous crime, however high and mighty they may be,” he said.
