PUDUCHERRY: French Ambassador in India Jerome Bonnafont visited the SOS Children’s Village in Pilliarkuppam near here recently. A release from SOS said Mr. Bonnafont interacted with the children and women of the village. He appreciated the children’s academic performance. He expressed the hope that their upbringing would help overcome the tragedy. It would also help them become independent and successful in their life, the release said. A photo exhibition highlighting the notable moments of the SOS Children’s Village’s of India was also held. Village director, Children’s Village, Jijith Kumar, thanked the ambassador for his visit.
