Gold jewellery stolen

VILLUPURAM: Twenty-five sovereigns of gold jewellery were stolen from a locked house at Jayapuram near Tindivanam.

S. Maria Thomas (59), retired teacher, lodged a complaint with the police stating that on his return from Bangalore on Tuesday morning, he found the rear door of his house open and the jewellery missing.
