AG (TN) wins

CHENNAI: AG (Tamil Nadu) defeated AG (Karnataka) by two wickets, in the final of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department (South Zone) cricket tournament held here on Tuesday.

Both AG (Tamil Nadu) and AG (Karnataka) qualified for the inter-zonal tournament to be held in Mumbai. Mr. G. Natarajan, Joint Secretary, TNCA, gave away the prizes.

Mr. K. Srinivasan, IA&AS, Accountant General (A&E) Tamil Nadu, Chennai, presided.

The scores (final): AG (Karnataka) 199 for three in 40 overs lost to AG (Tamil Nadu) 203 for eight in 40 overs (Chandrasekar 48).
