TRS students take police by surprise

HYDERABAD: About 15 members of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi’s student wing took the police by surprise on Tuesday when they suddenly appeared at the Assembly entrance and made a vain bid to enter the lobbies.

Shouting slogans like “we want a leader like Raj Thackeray (MNS leader from Mumbai)” and demanding introduction of resolution on separate Telangana in the Assembly, they came from TRS Legislature Party office and sat down in the portico catching the police off-guard.

After some time, they stood up and tried to enter the lobbies but were prevented from doing so by the policemen. Mild force was used to chase them away to the main entrance first and then to the Public Gardens where they were arrested.
