Court issues notices to ESCOMS

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Monday ordered issue of emergent notices to electricity supply companies (ESCOMS) on a petition by the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). The petitioner said though the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) had passed orders recently, reducing the tariff slab across several consumers, the ESCOMS had not passed them on to the consumers. — Staff Reporter
