Collector’s assurance to Red Cross

Perambalur: The Collector Anila Meshram has appealed to the Red Cross Society to enlist more members in its Perambalur branch and has promised to provide an office building and vehicle for the society. Speaking at the society’s Perambalur branch executive committee meeting, he suggested that the Society take up awareness programmes on AIDS prevention and blood donation. DRO P.Shankar, Perambalur Red Cross Society’s Vice President Dr.Thangaraj and others attended the meeting.
