Children admitted to hospital

ADILABAD: Six-year-old Pallavi and three-year-old Soumya had to be admitted to hospital following drinking of turpentine, a paint thinner on Tuesday. The girls, belonging to Jainad mandal, were accompanying their mother who had come to town for shopping. The mother unknowingly picked up a bottle of turpentine when the girls wanted water to drink. They were shifted to a hospital. -Staff Reporter
