Hospital to get concrete roads: Minister

PUDUKOTTAI: ‘Hospital Day’ was celebrated at the Government Taluk Hospital in Tirumayam near here recently.
The District Panchayat president, C. Muthusamy, assured the doctors that funds would be allotted for laying concrete on stretches leading to the hospital from near the highway.
The MLA, R.M. Subburam, said that the work on the construction of additional blocks under the Tamil Nadu Health Systems Project, was nearing completion at this hospital.
It would cater to the health-care needs of the people and also those admitted to the Emergency Ward.
The Deputy Director of Health Services, V. Ramamurthy and the Chief Medical Officer Mathuranthagi Kaliyamurthy were among those who spoke on the occasion
The Joint Director of Health and Rural Health Services, A. Dharmalingam, presided over the function.
