ESI Corporation to organise mini-marathon

CHENNAI: In connection with the 56th anniversary of the Employees State Insurance Corporation on February 24, Chennai regional office is organising a mini-marathon at the Marina Beach at 8 a.m. on that day.

The mini-marathon is open to all and those desirous of taking part in it may get their names registered with the regional office or at any branch offices in Chennai on February 20. A galaxy of VIPs, including sports stars, are expected to participate in the marathon, according to ESI’s Regional Director S.Thomas.

The regional office is also conducting a special services fortnight from February 25 to March 10 in connection with the foundation day in which seminars, grievance redressal camps, medical camps, special awareness programmes, interactive session with employees and employers will be conducted.
