Dharmapuri court redesignated

CHENNAI: The existing District and Sessions Court, Dharmapuri at Krishnagiri has been redesignated Principal District and Sessions Court, Krishnagiri in Krishnagiri district.

R. Karuppiah, Principal District Judge (PDJ), Madurai, has been transferred and posted as PDJ, Krishnagiri.

This followed the sanction of a District and Sessions Court at Dharmapuri in Dharmapuri district in July 2007. T. Mathivanan, PDJ, Dharmapuri at Krishnagiri, would continue to hold the post of PDJ, Dharmapuri, with his office at Dharmapuri.

P. Devadass, Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai, has been transferred and posted as PDJ, Madurai, according to a Madras High Court notification.
