JHIC, SBI in semifinals

HYDERABAD: Jubilee Hills International Centre (JHIC) and State Bank of India (SBI) entered the semifinals of the C. Narsi Reddy Memorial invitation basketball tournament, organised by RBVR Sports Club at the Reddy Hostel, here on Tuesday.

JHIC defeated VV College 48-40 in the first match, while SBI got the better of City College Old Boys 57-42 despite trailing 19-21 at the break.

The results: JHIC 48 (Gangadhar 22, Sanketh 10) bt VV College 40 (Deepak Thapa 17); SBI 57 (Ravikanth 19) bt CCOB 42 (Habib 14, Lokesh 3).
