PSBB wins title

CHENNAI: PSBB SSS (K.K. Nagar) scored an eight-wicket win over PS SSS, in the final of the P.C. Sekhar memorial under-13 cricket tournament held at the PS SSS grounds here on Tuesday.

Sunil Subramaniam, former Tamil Nadu cricketer, gave away the prizes. Mr. S. Gopal, Deputy Managing Director, The Sanmar Group, presided over the function.

The scores (final): PS SSS 112 for nine in 30 overs (M. Adithyan 43) lost to PSBB (K.K. Nagar) 113 for two in 22.1 overs (R. Akash 38 not out, Ashwath Mukunthan 48 not out). Man of the match: Ashwath Mukunthan.

Special prizes: Player of the tournament: M.S. Suraj (PS SSS); best batsman: M. Adithyan (PS SSS); best bowler: M. Karthik (PSBB, K.K. Nagar).
