Youth on world tour visit Sriperumbudur

They are expected to visit 15 countries to foster harmony and friendship among the youth
KANCHEEPURAM: Youth from different nations, who formed part of the team, 20th World Tour of Youth, visited Sriperumbudur near here on Wednesday.
By road
Members of the team, which arrived at Chennai on Tuesday, came to Sriperumbudur by road to visit the Rajiv Gandhi Memorial and Rajiv Gandhi National Institute for Youth Development.
From Japan
According to sources, around 250 youth from 14 countries embarked on a world tour by sea from Japan. During their 45-day expedition, they were expected to visit 15 countries across the globe to foster harmony and friendship among the youth. After attending a meeting at the institute, they visited a village near Sriperumbudur before leaving to Chennai.
