Film anniversary

MALAPPURAM: A group of artistes and film personalities led by Nedumudi Venu will converge on the banks of the Bharatapuzha at Tirunavaya on Thursday evening to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Aravindan’s film, Thambu. It will not only be a gathering of nostalgia but one to take up the cause of the dying Bharatapuzha, said Nedumudu Venu. The film will be screened, besides, a couple of documentaries showing the degeneration of rivers.
