K.V. Bengeri dead

Bangalore: The former Chairman of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board K.V. Bengeri died in Hubli. He was 49. He is survived by his wife and a son. A graduate in Environment Engineering, Mr. Bengeri was the youngest chairman of the board.

In his condolence message, Chairman of the board H.C. Sharathchandra said that certain major decisions taken during his tenure had helped the Board to improve the quality of service and activities. Mr. Bengeri was cremated in the presence of his relatives and friends.
