THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The work on the Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP) will resume on Thursday. Public Works Minister Mons Joseph said here on Wednesday that the work would be restarted from Kilimanoor in Thiruvananthapuram district. A total of 127 km of roads in three stretches – Kazhakkoottam-Venjaram oodu, Venjaramoodu-Changa nassery and Changanassery-Alappuzha – remained to be completed under the project. Addressing a press conference, the Minister said the work would take two years. The pending bills due to the contractors, PATI BEL, had been released besides a mobilisation advance of Rs.2 crore.
