Greetings on Ravidas Jayanti

NEW DELHI: President Pratibha Patil has extended her greetings and good wishes to people on the occasion of Guru Ravidas Jayanti. The birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas falls on Thursday. In her message, the President said: “Ravidasji led a life of faith and devotion and dedicated himself to the cause of the poor irrespective of caste, creed and religion. His philosophy of service and his commitment to create a caring society is relevant even today.”
