Man gets double life term

MADURAI: A fast track court here awarded double-life term to a man accused in a double murder case.

According to the prosecution, S. Kasi alias Kasinathan (19) of S. S. Colony here had murdered his mother Noorjehan (40) and her paramour, P. Stalin (30), on February 27, 2007. The judge sentenced the accused to undergo double life imprisonment (to run concurrently) and imposed a penalty of Rs. 10,000.
