NEW DELHI: Three influential Senators from the United States, Joseph Biden, John Kerry and Chuck Hagel, after an interaction with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Wednesday, told presspersons that they were satisfied with the Pakistan election process and the assurances given by the former Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, and Pakistan People’s Party leader Asif Zardari on fighting terror. While not absolving Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf of having committed a few mistakes, the Senators, who were present personally saw the elections, felt he kept his promise of staging credible elections.
