BANGALORE: Vetrivel Natarajan of Vidyashilp Academy capitalised on a poor opening by top seed Priyanka Sudhindra of Carmel School, a former National-level player, to win the under-15 title in the Prakrit Kidzone inter-School chess tournament held here. Arjun Bharat and Krish Bharat of Delhi Public School (North) clinched the top two slots in the under-13 category, while Augustine and Shubham (Vidyashilp) shared the top honours in the under-11 section. L.S. Prabhanjan of Prarthana School scored 5.5 out of a possible six to clinch the under-9 title, while in the under-7 category Delhi Public School’s Pranav G. Reddy won all his six rounds for the title.
