Satyawati wins title

NEW DELHI: Satyawati Evening College emerged the Delhi University inter-collegiate kabaddi champion for a record 12th time since it first won the honour in 1987.

In the last league match, Satyawati College defeated Indira Gandhi Institute of Physical Education and Sports Sciences 43-37 after leading 23-21 at half-time.

In the semifinals, Satyawati College had beaten Ram Lal Anand College 40-30 after the teams were locked 14-14 at half-time.
