House burgled

CHENNAI: Unidentified miscreants decamped with 50 sovereigns of gold jewellery and Rs. 25,000 in cash from a locked house in Teynampet on Tuesday.

Police said that Anandan and his wife Kothai, residents of Jayammal Road, were away at work.
