TN beats Goa

CHENNAI: S. Sathish Kumar (78) and P.R. Venkatsubramanian (five for 11) starred in Tamil Nadu’s win over Goa in the South Zone inter-State veterans’ cricket tournament.

The scores: Tamil Nadu 178 for seven in 30 overs (S. Sathish Kumar 78) bt Goa 84 (Chandra Tendulkar 42, P.R. Venkatsubramanian five for 11).

Andhra 188 for seven in 30 overs (T. Pavan Kumar 75) bt Karnataka 131 for six in 30 overs (Ramesh Rao 63, Ghulam Khader Pasha five for 51).
