VC Nigam emerges winner

Rajahmundry: VC Nigam, SE (P), from Mumbai High Asset of ONGC emerged champion and remained unbeaten with 6.5 points out of seven in first ever ‘Director (Onshore) Cup’ Chess Championship that concluded here on Thursday.

Koneru Humpy, world number two chess champion, distributed prizes . The tournament was played under Swiss Leauge system with 7 rounds.
