Airport workers’ call for strike

NEW DELHI: The Airports Authority Employees’ Union has called a countrywide strike from February 26 to protest against “non-settlement” of their long-pending demands.

“We organised a relay hunger strike recently to press our demands but the management and the Union Government failed to take notice of our protest. We are left with no other option but to undertake a massive industrial action countrywide,” said AAEU general secretary M.K. Ghoshal on Thursday.
