NEW DELHI:
RAINFALL: Weather was dry over the region.
TEMPERATURE: The minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan, rose in Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttarakhand and changed little elsewhere. They were below normal in east Uttar Pradesh appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 07.0°C recorded at Narnaul (Haryana), Sriganganagar (Rajasthan) and Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).
FORECAST VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 23rd February 2008: Rain/ snow is likely at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttarakhand. Rain/ thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry over the region. Night temperatures are likely to increase are likely to increase by 02 to 03°C over the region.
FORECAST FOR DELHI AND NEIGHBOURHOOD VALID UNTIL THE MORNING OF 23rd February 2008: Mist in the morning. Mainly clear sky likely to become partly cloudy towards evening/ night. The minimum temperature will be around 12°C.
